AstraZeneca respects your concerns about the privacy of your personal data (meaning any information relating to your person). By submitting personal data to AstraZeneca via this website you consent to AstraZeneca using and disclosing your personal data as provided for in this consent document.
You also consent to further contact with AstraZeneca and that the company can use the disclosed information (telephone number, e-mail address and postal address) for this purpose.
The purpose of the processing is to allow the AstraZeneca group to capture investigator interest in participation in clinical trials. A list of all AstraZeneca companies can be found at www.astrazeneca.com.

Scope of consent This consent applies to the personal data you provide by submitting the investigator registration form and any subsequent information supplied by you in connection with AstraZeneca’s investigation and evaluation of your suitability to participate in any trial.
Who has access to your data? One or more companies within the AstraZeneca located around the world may use the information that you provide for the above given purpose. This means that personal data may be transferred outside of your country of residence. Please be aware that the laws in such receiving countries may not provide the same level of data protection as the laws in your country of residence. Your personal data may be disclosed to a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that is contracted by AstraZeneca to recruit investigators to a clinical study or to another third party vendor engaged by AstraZeneca to assist it in recruiting investigators. AstraZeneca will require the third party to adequately safeguard your personal data and not use it for any unauthorised purposes.
We encourage you to update the information you provide to us, such as new mailing/email address, or a name change.
Data access and correction Once you have provided us with your personal data you have the right to request a copy of the information about you that AstraZeneca holds. You also have the right to request that any inaccuracies in the information AstraZeneca holds about you be corrected. If you wish to make a request you may do this by writing to us at the address below and by signing such a request.
How long will AstraZeneca keep the data? Personal data will be held in the database for up to five years after you last updated it. How will we protect your data? While we cannot guarantee against any loss, misuse or alteration of data, we try to prevent such occurrences by applying standard industry practices relating to data security, including use of firewall technology.
Modification of this Consent AstraZeneca reserves the right to modify or amend this consent from time to time after the initial date of your consent, and such modifications or amendments will become effective with respect to you from the time you provide new or updated information. We may therefore ask you to consent again when you provide any update of your personal data.
